Measurement Size
Using a metal tape measure, measure the width and drop of the visible glass in your frame. Please dont include your rubber beading when taking your measurements - only measure the visible glass pane.
Bracket Size
Perfect Fit Shutters are not suitable for square framed windows and doors.
Perfect Fit Blinds can be installed to uPVC windows & doors which have rubber beads and measure a depth between 18mm-31mm. Simply measure the depth between the face of the frame and glass beading, if you require any help please find our handy measuring guide and/or videos available.
The brackets are available in 18, 20mm, 22mm, 24mm, 26mm, 28, & 30mm sizes.
Please note if your bead depth is 32mm or greater, then this product is currently not suitable for your windows
When selecting your bracket choice, if you are between the sizes listed in the drop-down box, you must always go down to the next bracket size and not up.
For example:
1) if your bead depth is 21mm, you would need to select the 20mm bracket type.
2) if your bead depth is 23mm, you would need to select the 22mm bracket type.
3) if your bead depth is 24mm, you would need to select the 24mm bracket type.

Vertical Face vs Top Fixed
What is face-fixed window blind?
When a window blind is face-fixed, it is installed onto a wall, and occasionally on the window frame (although this is less common). Face-fixed blinds are typically associated with exact fit blinds that are mounted on the wall outside of a recess or for blinds covering a non-recessed window.
What is a top-fixed window blind?A top-fixed window blind is installed in an upward direction, typically at the top of the recess or ceiling. Our brackets offer flexibility, allowing you to choose either top or face fixing for your blind.

LOUVRES/Slats ONLYIf you already have a headrail and need replacement louvres, simply select the "Louvres Only" option.
Stack Side
"Bunch" or "stack" simply refers to the side where all the louvres gather when the blind is fully open, revealing the window.
Left Hand StackLeft Hand Stack, also known as left-hand bunch, describes a blind with all the louvres gathering to the left side when open.
Right Hand StackRight Hand Stack, also known as right-hand bunch, describes a blind with all the louvres gathering to the right side when open.
Split StackSplit Stack indicates that when the blind is fully open, the louvres divide, with half bunching to the left and half to the right, resembling a split down the middle, akin to a pair of curtains opening.
If you need new louvres for your headrail, just measure the length of your current louvres from the top to the bottom of the material. We'll use the exact measurements you provide without making any deductions

All our blinds are hand-crafted & built-to-last in our factory in Yorkshire. While many retailers rely on importing blinds & marking up prices significantly to cover high street rental costs, we offer a more affordable alternative all whilst supporting British manufacturing.
Measure Cover
Adding Measure Cover to your order means that even if you make a mistake with your measurements and your blind doesn't fit, you'll be able to claim a like-for-like replacement for each cover purchased. The only cost to you will be any difference in price, if your new measurements are larger.

What distinguishes a 'Recess Size' from a 'Blind Size'?
When ordering blinds on our website, specify whether your measurements are for a 'Recess Size' or 'Blind Size.' The distinction is crucial as it impacts the final size of your blind.
1. A Recess Size pertains to the internal measurements of your window reveal. Provide exact wall-to-wall and ceiling-to-sill measurements with no reductions, and we'll make the necessary adjustments to ensure a perfect fit within the space.

The degree of overlap is at your discretion, but as a general rule, we advise a 10cm overlap.
How easy is it to install my blinds?
Fitting window blinds is generally straightforward. Everything inlcuding Brackets are provided, which are easily screwed into your recess or wall for the blind to fit into. Visit our Fitting Guide for specific instructions and step-by-step guidance.
